Yes not only is this a great way of developing the good practice with other schools it is also very cost effective as if enough schools are involved the host school will receive a substantial discount to the cost of training or free resources.
Yes see details of individual delivery of a day or half day session in your school.
This is as cheap if not cheaper than your usual supply rate and could be planned to occur to occur when a member of staff is on a different course and supply is required.
As many staff as required can be trained but training lunchtime supervisors and pre / after school support staff is best done separately. (see training options)
No extra cost. All cost of training is per school not per member of staff.
No.
Unlike most inset training Ace Coaching and Teacher Training Services actively encourages schools to allocate pupils to all training sessions and in this way we aim to prove the training is age appropriate, works in a school environment and can be done at your school whatever your resources or facilities. Also as they are practical courses the pupils ‘love them’.
This includes inset days when usually only staff are in. We have successfully delivered inset training in schools who have been easily able to recruit children to come in!
All training is delivered by a fully trained PE deliverer who has had full ACE Coaching Delivery Training and has been passed as a fully qualified Level 2 Club coach by the specific sports national governing body.
Each course comes with resources that can be used by staff post course and each course is practical not theory based. Using the pupils as participants, this allows staff to make their own notes, look at resources and see the training in context.
Schools who have had ACE coaching training have received positive feedback from inspectors. Especially Literacy and Numeracy through Physical Activity delivery!
Ace Coaching and Teacher Training Services unlike many staff training providers wants to work with schools to make a real difference and to develop sector leading good practice in PE, Physical Literacy and Literacy and Numeracy through Physical Activity. As a result we are able through a package of support to return to school to offer additional training, support and to train additional wrap around care staff including Pre and post school club staff, lunchtime supervisors and even Year 5 / 6 Young Leaders. The result is that staff deliver, lessons and other school sessions, ‘holistically’ and that topics and practical skills are constantly reinforced.
Cost is very reasonable and schools are encouraged to save money but receive support by buying into a package of support / sessions from ACE. (See prices section)
All delivery, courses, inset and resources are developed to cover all age groups from Nursery to Year 6 and for some sports specific courses even KS3 pupils. The resources clearly show the tasks for all age groups and the training sessions will demonstrate suitable activities, techniques and content for each age group.
Training can also be tailored to a specific key stage or for Gifted and Talented students or students with special needs including EBD.
There are a number of funding opportunities available to schools. At ACE coaching we work with schools and clubs to find the funding opportunity best for your particular needs. We are so confident that we can help schools and clubs to access funding for a project of your choice that we will not even charge a fee until funding is secured!
Initially we charge nothing to consult and look at putting together a bid.
Then depending upon whether we assist or actually write the bid the commission fee is 5%-10% payable when the funding is received. We will even support further by offer advice on monitoring and end of funding reports back to the funding agency.
This is all part of the free consultation process but Ace Coaching will use our experience to guide you through the process and advise you of regulations for each funding agency. We will tell you if you can include certain costs and what each fund is most looking to support within your applications. Resulting in a much better chance of success!
We take all the hard work out of it. Many of these funds need experience, careful reading and the ability to meet key criteria. We read all the rules and regulations and look through the agencies criteria for making a successful bid. This makes it far more likely you will get the money. We also offer a complete writing service and support once you have received funding.
Again Ace coaching will make sure your bid meets the criteria for the particular funding agency. If you just need a bid changing slightly and need an ‘experts eye’ contact us this could be possible at a reduced commission.
In many cases you cannot only apply again annually . You actually become a safe bet with the funding agency if you have completed the requirements of your first bid. You can also make a bid to more than one agency as long as it is not for the same project or from PTA groups in schools or friends of etc.
Where is the harm in trying!
If we don’t help you to achieve funding you do not pay us anything!
If we do help you to achieve funding you will get a minimum of 90% of it!
We have a number of clients both schools and clubs who have received substantial grants! (See Client Feedback)
