Sports Specific / Whole School Staff Training - Special Offer

Head teachers and Senior Management. Do your staff, need some fresh ideas when delivering Gymnastics, Games or Athletics lessons! Ace coaching is able to offer a special rate for Half day Sports Specific Teacher Training of your choice + after school twilight session usually £170 reduced to £150 if booked before end of February 2020. Saving £20

Example outline of half day sports specific training with twilight session would be key stage 1 example lesson 1-2pm followed by key stage 2 example lesson 2pm -3pm then afterschool group to demonstrate how to transfer skills onto apparatus.

This uses Year 2 and Year 5/6 class so automatically release that member of staff and school covers for other staff to see sessions internally. Times are only an example and can be altered to fit with your school day!

Staff cover provided for specific classes on a termly basis, daily supply of PE lessons by qualified teacher / ex Head of PE department with vast experience working with primary students.

Teacher Training Opportunities
Sports specific training for teachers in a wide range of sports by a fully qualified PE Teacher who is also a club coach national governing body coach and includes Football, Cricket, Multi-Skills, Athletics, Gymnastics, Dodgeball, Trampolining, Basketball, Tennis and Indoor Golf. Training is provided on a twilight, half day or whole day, individual or whole school basis.

Literacy and Numeracy through Physical Activity Teacher Training opportunities
‘Maths In Motion’
A national unique way to deliver practical mathematics problems and develop oral literacy skills during a physical tasks / PE session. This concept has been developed by Ace Coaching and Teacher Training and Teacher training and uses a wide range of physical tasks to develop all the core skills required within the Numeracy and Literacy Framework. Training comes with a free set of resource cards that identify specific tasks for each age group in Foundation Stage and Key stage 2 and is supported by further staff inset and mentoring opportunities. Staff training is directed at not just teaching staff but is very suitable for TA’s and pre / after school club support staff. Children think they are playing games but they are also developing important core Literacy and Numeracy skills.
